The Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus and the Rialto Theatre cordially invite you to the Symposium “The musical traditions of the Mediterranean as a reflection of contemporary culture practices for Intercultural Dialogue” The Symposium will emphasize the relationships and the similarities of the Mediterranean music culture, other topics will be:

 

- The heritage of Greek / Cypriot music with their relationships and interactions with other Mediterranean cultures.

- The European music perceptions of the Media industry regarding the Mediterranean musical traditions.

- The Mediterranean music traditions within the contents of the curriculum of education in the Mediterranean area.
